Oh Canada?

Posted 31 Mar 2007 by Frank Encruncher Post: @Buffalo Bill I been waiting to see what's happening for a web site for Canada I would like to see one that includeds all Disturbed Computing not just Boinc There is many other projects Canada has a team, but has no forums for discussion, running in the wild so to speak After CASP7 last year I've done alot of alpha and beta testing on various projects (Boinc and non-Boinc) Testing a project can be very frustrating, servers outages, running buggy apps, hours of crunching lost, alot of the time for little or no credits To help a project get off the ground, just so other people not interested in testing can run it Yes I would like to to see a forum for Canada where I could post about projects Why I decline,(some may think it was purely selfish reason and it was) but I earned it. I've spent several thousands of dollars for computers, plus electricity and Internet costs and hours setting boxes to run over the last year even though I don't donate directly, it still costs me $100+/per month to run what I got so my biggest reward is being team founder and I'll keep it and if we get a website I'll join Cheers Franken Cruncher p.s. Congrats on the 20,000,000 |
