(Message 59818) Posted 26 Feb 2009 by geneticsware Post: I have a Win/XP computer that uses FreeProxy to get to the internet. All browsers successfully use the proxy. But Boinc gives that message: Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down. I know the servers are not down, because I can switch to a hardwire connection and this same computer gets work. If I ping boinc.bakerlab.org, there is no connection. If I ping the IP address, there is no connection. I have used FreeProxy with Boinc before, what setting am I missing?
