Posted 14 Dec 2006 by paul milton Post: hope yall dont mind me chiming in.. in windows xp home the "compressd folder" is indeed a zip file. xp home and pro both have native support for zip files. ive also used 7zip to handle other formats (free) www.7-zip.org wich supports upported formats: * Packing / unpacking: 7z, ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2 and TAR * Unpacking only: RAR, CAB, ISO, ARJ, LZH, CHM, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB and NSIS
