Will the package update from 5.10.45 to the newer 6.2.15 version for amd64 installations at some point? Is this something that BOINC needs to fix, or Ubuntu? The reason that the boinc is outdated in the repos is because the person that usually submits the latest and greatest upstream to debian has not done so. I would like to help in this process and have joined the launchpad boinc team, but am not sure how to proceed. I'm not a developer and I don't even know how to code, but I will work on getting the latest boinc manager submitted upstream (once approved and tested it flows down into the ubuntu repos) so that everyone can enjoy the latest boinc manager.
