I’ve installed BOINC Manager Version 6.2.19 from scratch in my new computer running Windows XP SP3. I’m running Seti@home and Rosetta@home projects. Both projects run mostly fine but when they starts to crunch a Rosetta Mini 1.34 WU Windows immediately shows the following error message: “minirosetta_1.34_windows_intelx85.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close…. Bla,bla….” When you ask for details, it shows the following: “szAppName: minirosetta_1.34_windows_intelx86.exe szAppVer: 0.0.0.0” and “szModName: ntdll.dll szModVer: 5.1.2600.5512 offset: 00010193”. Both Seti WU’s an Rossetta “classic” WU’s haven’t no problem, but as actually most Rossetta WU’s are Mini Rossetta, I have suspended Rossetta crunching until this problem could be resolved. Here is to note that in my other older machines running earlier versions of Boinc these error does not happen.
