The queue did not run dry, the database went down and wasn't sending out work.

It's been reset, and it looks like things are going back to normal. We're going to keep an eye on it though, so if there are any problems we definitely appreciate the posts.

I'm looking into this now.

The protocol appears to be producing useful structures, I think there's an issue with validation.

Definitely feel free to cancel these work units if you'd like. We may still be able to validate these results, but there's definitely no harm if you run other work units instead.

Please report any issues here

We're working to fix the problem now, and will validate the backlog once the problem has been resolved.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
5) Message boards : Number crunching : Problems with Minirosetta version 1.09 (Message 51916)

Please post any bugs regarding the new minirosetta application here (version 1.09).

This version now includes graphics, but only for windows machines. A mac version of the graphics also exists but in version 1.09 is unfortunately nonfunctional. The new graphics are still a work in progress, and as such are going to be different from what everyone is used to.

We have two goals for this release. The first is to verify how some of rosetta's key protocols have survived the move into minirosetta, and the second is to test new protocols that our switch to minirosetta has made possible. Both sets of protocols will be tested on targets that we consider to be scientifically useful.

For now there will only be a gradual increase in work units running minirosetta, in case we missed any significant bugs during our tests on ralph.
