Hi David.

I have a Haswell R Xeon running Ubuntu 14.04lts x64, I could put it on to Ralph for any testing you might do if it's any help.

Yea, the graphics window finally works under Ubuntu after how many years I've lost count.

As for the tasks, I haven't seen any problems with the ones running on my rigs.

Hi Erik.

I had a quick look at your erred tasks and they all look to be of the rb__SAVE__ALL__OUT type, I have been aborting those for many months because they where always erring on my rigs as well and no one has fixed the problem, I did report it.

And I only run tasks here for 4hrs.

Hi.

I just checked why my RAC has gone down, it seems to be because of these type of tasks are all getting Validate errors.

For my rigs and the others that have done the same tasks.

This is just a few that I found of mine.

Hi.

I've got ten waiting for the validation as well going back to the 21/9 plus others, I don't know if the validator is having problems keeping up with all the new people or if there another problem somewhere.?

The server page looks a bit funny at the moment to or it might just be firefox.

Hi SBF-GODS-STONE.

You seem to be mixing up cpu cashe with system ram, your system is showing about
3 gigabyte of ram ( Memory 2989.52 MB ).

Rosetta can use up to and over 1 gig of ram per task/wu sometimes, there is no way
that can fit in the cpu's cashe.

You said - This CPU chip has for L2 and L3 cashe storage 1 and 2 gig's of memory on the chip.
====================================================
See spec's for your cpu from CPU-World site.

AMD FX-4350

Level 2 cache size: 2 x 2 MB shared exclusive caches
Level 3 cache size: 8 MB shared cache

i.m.h.o. - Sorry you need more RAM!

Hi Miklos,M

I just had a look at 2 of your rigs the i7-4960X and FX-8150 they both have

# cpu_run_time_pref: 86400 seconds you selected which is about 24hrs run time, so what's the problem?

If the W.U. can finish faster then your selected run time for some reason like hitting (99)decoys they will but otherwise they will run the full length of time.
