I'ts not that clear. One Ryzen has 0 errors, another 100%

But yes, Intel is error free.

Hi,
normally Rosetta runs fine on my PC's, but today 3 wu' failed with very similar errors

As I'm looking through my results, i found another pc too with errors of the same kind. Looks like a system problem, not a pc problem.

4) Message boards : Number crunching : GPU Potential (Message 77766)

Post:

Rosetta Admins know the power of gpu (see, for example, Poem@home project), but you are right, it's VERY difficult to implement.
This is the reason i hope for AVX/AVX2 extensions, probably easier to implement and with an immediate gain (look at the first 100 cpus in Statistics)

Please do not forget the fma3 / fma4 capabilities of the AMD cpu's. Crunch3r's fma4 implementation @ Asteroids@Home is extreme efficient!
5) Message boards : Number crunching : Free-DC (Message 77757)

Post:

I'd not heard of Free-DC before but looking at it now, it seems very similar to a hundred other distributed computing team websites (with the caveat that Free-DC says it is open to everyone). What selection criteria would you suggest the Rosetta administrators use to select useful links while still keeping the list to a manageable size?

Hmm, a good question. As you can see, i participate in many projects. AFAIK all other projects have a link to Free DC status page. For me it was more or less a matter of fact that every project has a link to it. The idea that it needs a selection criteria never came up.
So i thought there might be a reason not have the link on the account page.

Never mind, i can use a link from my browser.

I tried a search in this forum for free-dc but could not find anything.
7) Message boards : Number crunching : Rosetta and Android (Message 77753)

There is an android version, but it is only used for very limited numbers of tasks. So, at present, there must not be any tasks created for android.

THX,
I will keep waiting for wu's!

Now that Simap has ended, I've added Rosetta to my Samsung Galaxy S4. Awaiting tasks to come through. Nothing over the last week, so only WCG going through now.

Hi,
I've joined Rosetta yesterday, mainly because SIMAP ends and I was looking for a replacement project.
I have added 2 devices, not getting any wu until now.
The messages say: No work sent, Rosetta is not available for your type of cpu.
The application page here says, there is an android version.
Can anyone explain that?

Alexander
