I've just currently moved to a uni campus where I have no internet access (yes I know this 21st century - they don't). I can go to the library to use the net.
I'd like to keep contributing to the Rosetta project, so is there a way to upload/send my result and download new jobs manually (eg. ftp/email)?

Thanks for your help,

Nope got to have and internet connection, How are you going to get the WUs......???????? Opps missed the part about the library, problem is BOINC rejects any WUs not processed by the same computer that downloaded it.....

I think you can set the "Connect to network about every X days" in the general preferences.
The more days you have, the more work Boinc should download on it's cache.
This could be read "How often will my computer be plugged on the internet: Once every X days"

I have a number of machines in my workshop with no internet connection. i'd like to be able to download WU's for them and let them chunk away. Maybe i'll figure something out myself in the meantime. Anyway to remove the Boinc Icon altogether? Others in my house (wife) feel that I shouldn't "break" our computers over something silly. I want to run it with nothing visible in the GUI.
