I've got half a dozen machines set with a 2-day network connection frequency, and that has worked perfectly for about 3 or 4 weeks: they always had about 48 hours of work cached. Until a few days ago that is, when two machines ran through their queues and then started downloading only when the current work unit was nearing completion. I'm wondering why, and if a "Reset" is an appropriate remedy? If that is so, is there anything special to be aware of when re-setting?

TIA - you guys do a great job!

probably just a setting the sysop is making to control... there have been some outages lately and that could be.... try increasing the cache size a couple days but then manually try to update to receive files several times so that you can hopefully get more...

I cuyrrently have 5 or 6 in queue.

It was just two "rogue" machines which behaved like that, the others all carried on as usual. I reset the connection period from 2.0 to 2.1 days yesterday, and the rogues are now back to normal...strange...
