Having some pcs that are dual-boot Linux / Windows

I want a way to continue crunching on Linux a WU
I initiated crunching on Windows

I want a way to continue crunching on Windows a WU
I initiated crunching on Linux

Ofcourse the hardware is the same, and when
I boot Linux I have no windows at all & viceversa

I am thinking about making the hostname the same
the ip address the same and the space on disk the same

currently
fat32 can safely be read/writen by both OS(es)

However the disk space has to have
rosetta.exe(4.81) and ./rosetta(4.80)
the same for boinc ...

I had on past this setup working with think/FaD

What I am worried is the different versions of
the software that will be used to crunch the same WU

Any thoughts about ?

This generally will not work due to incompatablities in the code.
