I'm just back in Seattle, and very eager to analyze the results of the last two weeks. I hope to give you a report within the next week or two.

In the meantime, there is an article on our collaborative project at

http://www.hhmi.org/bulletin/dec2005/upfront/proteins.html

that you might find interesting (it begins: Most scientists cultivate collaborations to advance their work. But we're betting only David Baker has colleagues in Andorra, Belarus, and the Pitcairn Islands. Not to mention the rest of the world.)

Again, happy new year everybody! 2006 will be a very exciting year for this project!

David

hi David, we didn't want you to get bored with nothing to do when you got back, so you might find one or two posts on these boards...

Tom Lerher said it best ... "Base 8 is like base 10 really ... if you are missing two fingers ..."

I used to do base 12 ... :)
