I just attached Rosetta to BOINC

It stays like this for hours. It doesn't download a single byte. All files in transfer have 0 byte. Retrying doesn't help.
Other activities are suspended waiting for Rosetta.

From the look of your computers, rosetta thinks you have downloaded work...

Are there are large number of files in the trasfers tab? Rosetta should download quite a large amount of data for your first WU...

Sounds like a comms issue... but odd that you can attach ok...

Yes, there are a large number of files, around 40/50 files. None of them is downloaded, though.
SETI and LHC work ok and comms are fine.

There are some lingering problems in the BOINC Client Software with regard to the loss of work issued. These problems usually occur with project outages and with dial-up computers. The later versions of the BOINC Client Software are more tolerant and if the latest server version is being used, the "ghost" work can and will be downloaded on subsequent communication attempts.

I do not recall which versions corrected these problems as this is just one more thing for me to try to keep up with and, well, I overflowed my bit bucket.

One thing to try is to reset the project if you have no work. That *MAY* allow it to get a new batch.

It's not I don't any new work.
The point is that I can only attach Rosetta, and all the files inherent to the project are scheduled for download, but never downloaded.

Ok, I managed to understand why it doesn't download.
The switch: Do work while computer is in use? must be yes.

It doesn't sound like intentional, though.
