Having multiple Computation Error a few seconds into running Rosetta Beta application (6 in 33 tasks just downloaded). BOINC log indicates "Output file xxx for task yyy absent". System kernel log showed no filesystem error and likes. Probably these tasks are just buggy? |

Since you're computer are hidden, I'm going to say it's more than likely the buggy Rosetta tasks that have been discussed in the forum below. Nothing you can do Problems and Technical Issues with Rosetta@home. Go to the last few most recent posting (about 1 week back until the current day) )in the topic. |

Most of mine seem to work on my Linux machine. Those that error out look like this: Stderr output <core_client_version>7.20.2</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> process exited with code 1 (0x1, -255)</message> <stderr_txt> command: ../../projects/boinc.bakerlab.org_rosetta/rosetta_beta_6.06_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu @10aa_1_a_hal_10aa_ce9818_d66_0001.flags -nstruct 10000 -cpu_run_time 28800 -boinc:max_nstruct 20000 -checkpoint_interval 120 -mute all -database minirosetta_database -in::file::zip minirosetta_database.zip -boinc::watchdog -boinc::cpu_run_timeout 36000 -run::rng mt19937 Using database: database_f5ae1de8e1/database ERROR: Error in simple_cycpep_predict app! They seem to be getting quicker on fixing things! Only went away for about a day and a half this week. <sarcasm> Let's give them a "Well done"? </sarcasm> But they really need to look into the cron job(s) running on late Tuesday or early Wednesday. |

Having multiple Computation Error a few seconds into running Rosetta Beta application (6 in 33 tasks just downloaded). BOINC log indicates "Output file xxx for task yyy absent". System kernel log showed no filesystem error and likes. Of the 20 most recent Rosetta Beta tasks on my Windows 11 machine, seven were Errors While Computing. SGaber Oldsmar, FL |
