You can always check the SERVER STATUS PAGE to see if any work is available to be sent out.

* Scroll down to bottom of page for what you are looking for. Rosetta does not break down the tasks by device type ("Android" vs 'Computer").

boinc-process host is dead again (at least there's not much that needs Validating).

Now back, for what little backlog it had.
Only 61 tasks out waiting to be returned - we're all still dry as a bone

Now the Christmas / New year season is over, hopefully come next week there'll be some new large batches of work.

Yup. Historically, when this place was the source of all Rosetta work, it's taken until the 2nd week of the year to get back up to speed.
In other years, where there's been server issues over the holiday period, it's taken until later in January before everything got itself straight.
In the days when Admin staff had a presence in the forums I'd sometimes recommend a server reboot just ahead of the holidays so the hardware was in its best condition before a period of weeks when everything was largely unattended.
That didn't always happen, and even when it did, wasn't entirely without issues either tbh.

(I had been thinking it would be nice if they re-started their GPU programme & new Rosetta version development again, although the Ralph problems (stats and project configuration) still haven't been fixed)).

And i've noticed the message boards have been rather sluggish for the last day or two...

+1
And Zluda4 is here, a new restart.
ZLUDA allows to run unmodified CUDA applications using non-NVIDIA GPUs with near-native performance.

ZLUDA supports AMD Radeon RX 5000 series and newer GPUs (both desktop and integrated).

No offence meant.
The subject has been up in the air for so long it's not funny any more.
I'll believe it if I ever see it - not before

I understand what you mean.
The first time i see a post about rosetta on gpu was..... a decade ago!!
But the last summer a new hope appeared on Ralph (for Nvidia).
Now, the silence

Well, no.

I was looking at this last night.
The latest update reads:
January 4, 2025
Update from the data centre: "Having issues with the physical network , likely can't get it diagnosed and fixed until Monday, January 6.". As a result - we still do not have a connection to our servers.
