New article on Science Node.

In the past year, the researchers used an average of 46,000 core OSG hours per week — a total of around 2.4 million core hours

Note that Open Science Grid (OSG) is a network of shared research super compute clusters. This network helps assure such valuable resources are more highly utilized. Their site says in the last year they have "...provided more than 800 million CPU hours to researchers across a wide variety of projects"
