Tasks I've got are always 80000 GFLOPs,and my computer have to run at least 5 hours to finish it,while others I'm participating only needs approx. 1.5h to finish.It's depressing to find these tasks run less than 20% per hour.
To be honest,I'd rather run lots of small tasks than run a HUGE task.

R@h allows you to designate a preferred work unit runtime. I can't recall if that makes any change to the GFLOPS sent in the task, but it does impact when the task will actually complete and, over time, the BOINC Manager adjusts to the observed runtime estimates.
