I had the same problem in this days, i think it's a problem of new release
of Rosetta (3.17).
Another problem is the stop of WU's validation.

I obvious question is do you overclock your pc? If so stop and see if that helps, if not then what else is running at the same time...ie movies, games, etc, etc.

One other thing is that it may not be your pc at all, several of your wingmen are doing exactly the same thing with the unit as your pc. Go into your Tasks and look at the bad ones and then look under "workunit id" not just "task id", you will see that all the other pc's with the same unit had problems too.

Baz, your compute errors are due to the task having a fault in its code.
Your wingmen are getting the exact same errors.
Validate errors are due to the Rosetta system having issues.
You still get full credit as another program or a human checks your results.
The tasks you both are getting errors on show this information as part of the exit results:
ERROR: [ERROR] invalid header input for kill_hairpins file.
ERROR:: Exit from: ......srccorescoringSS_Killhairpins_Info.cc line: 370

That is a programer error that the team will see one of these days and fix.
