On one of these pages about science, there is a link to an Active Workunits Log, which had descriptions of the goal of different types of workunits. The log stops sometime in 2007. Is it being updated anywhere else, or is that something that has since been abandoned? It seemed like a really cool idea. |

The original Active workunits log has since morphed into specific new types of studies being conducted such as: Large Homology Modeling protein-protein docking protein-protein interfaces Structure prediction of zinc-binding proteins Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

Gotcha. Basically, if I keep abreast of the stickied threads in this forum, I'll be able to keep up with the science of what my computer is crunching. Thanks! It's a big issue with these distributed computing projects -- your computer keeps working, but you aren't, and steadily lose track of what exactly you are accomplishing. I'm going to try to stick with Rosetta because everyone seems so communicative and well-spoken. Also, the results go in actual journals! |
