Hello,

sometimes Roseta finishes workunit immediatelly after resume - despite that the expected finish time is still 3+ hours. When I check the outcome it is however without errors. Here is log of one such event. Roseta was interrupted by "high priority" workunit from other project and did not finich the job after resume.

Could anyone check the results if they are usefull? I'm afraid that the bug means that part of the search space assigned to my client was skipped and due the nature of the project/search results it goes undetected.

Ales

Well, firstly, let me reassure you that the way R@h works is not dependent upon any and all tasks being returned. It uses a Monte Carlo algorithm which does sampling of the search space. The more samples created, the better the resulting solution, but missing a few does no harm. There are generally tens of thousands of other models studied.

The task you mention seems to have failed almost immediately due to missing file problem others are reporting in the v2.17 thread. You were the second person to be assigned that task, because the first failed in the same way. So, nothing specific to do on your end. These tasks seem to have a flaw in how they were built on the project server.

So in this case, it doesn't appear to have had anything to do with the fact that the task was suspended and resumed. It would have failed as soon as it tried to access that file anyway.
