all of my computers stopped working... nothing is happening now

Could be your end, could be a server along the way or even the project, but stopping and then restarting Boinc usually fixes it. Something weird is going on - I got the 'communication deferred' error as well, restarted BOINC on all my comps and that got the uploads to go through but I still haven't received any new work, 2/3 of my computers are sitting idle atm. Either this indicates, that the servers are now rebooting and be operational again shortly, or it indicates, that everything just died... Friday, the 13th...
