HI! Ok I really don't know alot about all of this, but I have been running the Seti for quite awhile. I really just let it do its thing. If its up or down I couldn't really tell you. Issue today tho is that I entered URL And my code to attach rosetta project and nothing happened at all? Clue anyone? I am running Windows xp home sp2 with Boinc version 4.45 Thanks in advance Linda

Hello and welcome here: Do you have create a password by creating an account? So you must enter in the first line https://boinc.bakerlab.org and in the second line your accountkey with Boinc 4.45. If you will using your password you must update to 5.2.13. Look here for further instructions Attaching to project

Okay what I did was go to Rosetta and got account, they sent the URL and acct key. I went to Boinc Manager and clicked on attach to new project, box came up to enter URL and key which I did hit enter and since nothing at all has happened. So I am uncertain of what you are telling me to do here? Sorry, like I said I have been running the Seti for quite awhile with the Boinc setup and heck if I can find any password or acct key except the one that seti gave me, as I set up Boinc right from there site. Does this help you to understand my issue at all? Lol sorry if I sound so lame here, but I just let it do its thing and never really pay any attention to it and I don't receive any messages or anything that there is any problems so I just let it do its thing. Absolutely nothing happened or changed in my manager. Still running only seti, tried entering url and key again and still nothing is happening at all... I should be getting some kind of download or something shouldn't I?

Can you send me the logfiles to "rebirther@web.de" in the boinc directory (.txt)? Some error must be displayed :o
