Hi i thought that the other thread was getting a bit long so here's a new one.

I'll go first it looks like the servers are bogged down with the new app release maybe, very slow if anything.

edit - server 4 is offline it is the feeder.

From front page The project was shut down temporarily to make modifications to the SAN filesystem. -KEL/DOVA Might be part of the problem. I have 1,104.50 credits pending. This is the 1st time I've had this much pending on Rosie.
Have a crunching good day!!

That could be a strong possibility. At the moment it's either Thursday 12:04 sm or Thursday 3:04 am in Washington I'm not sure what part of Washington Rosie is located in. It will be like it for a few more hours to come that's assuming the team is working on Xmas eve, otherwise it will be like it for a few days.
Merry Christmas and happy New Year

Pending... pending...

I knew it. This is going to make a big valley in my Statistics Graph.

Yes, uploading and downloading continues. Just no credit granted.

At least, that's the worst of my problems.

Yes, but think of the Matterhorn style peak you will eventually get. You will be able to climb the Eiger in your dreams.

A quick peek at my pending tasks shows that validation has started working again. Still a lot of red labels on the server status page but some things are moving. By the time the Xmas festivities are over this may all be resolved.

Thanks to the admin guys for geting things rolling on their holidays.

Matterhorn

:)

The Pending work units are starting to get processed.

One by one, slowly at first...

And the red lights in the Server Status are turning green.

For the first time since 1999 when I got web-active and started working on Distributed Computing Projects, I upgraded my system to a 2nd computer and a router.

Finally.

I was watching my Users Average Credit climb from its normal plateau of 250 to an estimated re-plateau of 700 to 750, with the additional computer.

So, it got bumpy around 500 for a couple of days, when the servers glitched. A little Matterhorn Interruptus, but I'll get up to 700.

As Celery says, thanks Server Guys.

Some odd things happening. My own WUs are getting credited very quickly but those of my team-mates (very few in comparison) are lingering as outstanding after an initial rapid catch-up. Specifically: this one.

A quirk or a sign of a remaining issue?

A bunch of server items are still in the red & I can't get any WUs.

@Speedy: Rosetta is based at the Universtiy of Washington, which is located in Seattle. Nice campus, with an avant-garde chapel with reflecting pool in front.

Does not look like there is much work left.

I'm getting this type of message on all rigs.

& Heidi1 Thanks for info Rosie is in the same time zone as Seti so it makes it nice and easy to work out what the time is in Rosie server land.

Avant-garde chapel? Really? I'm a student at the UW, and I haven't noticed any chapels on campus. Are you perhaps thinking of Seattle University (a Jesuit school)?
