started my first 2 work units 1 April after completing one unit (100% progress in boinc manager) I noticed my firewall ask for permission to send. I allowed presuming it was sending the data back to Rosetta however I see no credit or evidence of the works completion in project tab i see my account name (Paul) and resource share 100%, work done 0.00% would hate to think the last 1hr40mins for nothing thanks Paul

No foolin', credit is not an instant thing. Uploading the file is one event and then later the BOINC client does an update to the project when it completes the report of the task and generally requests more work at the same time.

It looks like those first two tasks encountered access violations, and so perhaps it was the attempt to report the debug tables that tripped the firewall.

Sometimes errors like that are due to the machine, perhaps overclocked a notch or two too far, or has a failing memory chip, other times there are problems encountered in running the model you were assigned. Since the models are all different, it is hard to tell.

The tasks both generated a duplicate which has been assigned to another machine. So, have a look at the work unit details for these two later and see if the other host has a similar problem. If it has a problem, then it is more likely the models assigned to that WU. If not, then more likely something about your machine.

Glad to have you crunchin'!
