有中国人吗??

I think you will find better results to whatever your question is if you can post in English. For some it is our main language, for others it is not, but we all seem to be able to handle it okay. Japanese, I am guessing that is what this is, is not known by many people that write to these boards.

Ahh thanks, might have helped if I had checked that before writing!

Either way, characters I can't even display in my browser (without the special downloads that give one such characters), not to mention attempt to type on my keyboard to reply.

I'm hoping, since it is in the cafe, that perhaps it just says "Hi from China!"... and that it meets the posting guidelines :)

Okay you guys got me thinking and I brought up 'babel-fish', an online translator, and it says the message says "Has the Chinese??". So yes it meets the posting guidelines.

I think it translates to: "does anybody here talk Chinese".

Edit: for some spelling, formatting and some legibility.

Click the author's name and it takes you to his ID.

I'm guessing you need to install the MS language packs to see it. Comes across ok here (I guess - not squares anyway).

I've always wondered if the Chinese keyboards have every single symbol?
Cuz AFAIK, Chinese employs an almost infinite amount of symbols.

Some perspective on Chinese keyboards

9 characters per key, identified by pressing one of 9 shift-like keys at the same time. And even the Chinese find it difficult to find the symbol they want!
