Using boinccmd with a --lookup_account is one way.

But you shouldn't need the account key to attach to the project. Just your EMail address and password.

If you need further help, please let us know your platform (Windows? Linux? Mac?) and your BOINC version.

You can just install a more current version of BOINC and the account keys are no longer required to attach to a project. Link to BOINC client download.

Or, open a DOS window, CD to the directory boinc is in, there you will see a boinccmd.exe (and perhaps in v4 days it had an underscore in the name, boinc_cmd.exe).

Then run this program from the DOS command line, something like this:

boinccmd --lookup_account https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta emailaddress@mailserver.com accountPassword
