Does Rosetta software perform structure predictions of RNA molecule too? Is there anybody that could post me a link were read more about that? |

Manuel, the answer to your question is certainly yes. BakerLab is studying RNA structures as well. And yes, those same algorythms get used on Robetta as well. Robetta is sort of a laboratory service, whereas Rosetta@home is the public project to improve the basic science used to make the program. I dug up a few links. I hope it will get you started. They are not always sending RNA work units out, but they have in the past. Review of the release logs thread shows several updates and improvements in RNA energy functions. It was discussed in Dr Baker's journal, and the thread on discussion thereof, and the paper that was published and analysis of 1dtj There was also a thread called "Why RNA folding" Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

Most of the posts were about 2 years old, and the search doesn't seem to dig that deep anymore. I had to dig where I knew I would find these things from having been here during that period of time. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
