I'm trying to add a project but it keeps failing to connect. I add in the URL: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/ and it fails. Is there a different URL that is buried in the website somewhere??? Is this site down??? What available URL's are correct??? Is the a list a valid URL's somewhere???

Sorry I'm new to this and just want to offer my server since it's up 24/7.

If you are using 5.2.x goto your acct and setup a password then use that to log in to the project...

In my limited experience, there's three possible ways it can fail.

One is that it pops up a screen, asking for Proxy information. This generally indicates that something's pretty badly shot with the connection to the web in general. If you can browse on the system, you should not see this.

Secondly is a complaint that the address isn't a boinc type URL. That generally means a mistyped URL.

Lastly is an incorrect login. As far as I know, you CAN create an accoutn at the same time as you attach, however I got into the habit of setting up the account locally (which you've already done because you can post). So assuming that you're running the latest and greatest Boinc, you'd want to use the e-mail address and password that go with your account here.

Lemme know if this doesn't cover what's going on.
