A computer that was working on some BOINC tasks, died. Is there any way to cancel its tasks?

(I know eventually they will pass the deadline and probably be sent to someone else, but I'm not sure if this effects my credit and I wanted to be courteous, if it matters.)

It will not affect the credit other than you obviously won't get credit for those tasks. Outside of a project administrator manually deleting the tasks in question I do not think it can be done

Lumenos, thanks for being curtious. No, there isn't a way to do that. They just hit their deadlines and then are reissued (assuming you are the first to not report them back).
