I have been receiving message from the sever of rosetta that inform me there is new task but I dont have enough disk space,an additinal 80MB is needed.however the disk division which I used to store data file for bonic still has more than 2GB free space.what's the problem?Is there any settings I have to reset to fix this problem?(I allocate 500MB for Bonic,but now,just 60MB is used)

There are 3 settings in "Advanced", "Preferences", "Disk and Memory usage"

Use at most [ ] GB disk space
Leave at least [ ] GB disk space free
Use at most [ ] % of total disk space

These settings interact to give a final usage setting

Under "Messages" tab find similar to this line to find out the final allocation Boinc has set

5/10/2008 6:45:23 PM||Preferences limit disk usage to 9.31GB

Sometimes you have to re-adjust the 3 settings a few times to get the result you want

To aid solving these problems, BOINC Manager 6.3.x divides the "total disk usage" pie chart into four parts - dividing the former free part into "free, available to BOINC" and "free, not available to BOINC".
