Stumbled across this video on YouTube, which seems to be a good summation of my time in Belgium and the Julie Andrews concert in London...

The €1M questions is, was it the Belgian waffles, chocolate, beer, or water that had something "extra" in it, lol ?!

Seem that even Wellington, NZ tries to get in on the act, but I'll stick with the original Antwerp version !

Greg, are you certain? I thought I saw you and D dancing around in the video !!! M and I certainly wish we could have been there for that !

don't know who that was.
waffles, well you can just get a deep grill square waffle maker and make sure its 2 rectangles and you will have your waffles
just have to get chocolate or sugar to coat them with or whatever you saw.
Brussels on the way to the statue you will find quite a few places that do waffles, some pretty fancy others just plain.

now if you come back and eat at a fries shop, then you have to have your fries in a point bag with mayonnaise on top. then you have had true belgian fries.

can you ask them to do it again?!

we'd definitely come back for that, and some more waffles!

I do not think I would like mayonnaise on my fries, even in Belgium! IMO there is too much emphasis on mayo these days, and I do NOT like it on my burger either! I DO like mayo en my egg salad or tuna salad and I even like it on bread when I have a lunch meat sandwich. And yes I like tarter sauce on my fish stuff. But sorry I do not like mayo on my fries or burgers. And real mayo or miracle whip is all the same to me, I prefer real mayo but I have eaten miracle whip too.

NO ketchup/catsup! Well no wonder they use mayo.

And unfortunately sometimes there is no choice except Miracle Whip! My dad was in the Air Force and sometimes there was no mayo available overseas. Just like fresh milk, sometimes powdered was all there was!

Speaking of the U.S. Air Force.....

Air Force may suffer collateral damage from PS3 firmware update

Can't they just take the hard drive out and put it in a regular machine, format it with Linux and then put it in the PS3? I have a friend that is a Linux genius and I will have to ask him about this, seems to me if you format the drive on a working PS3, and then put it back in the PS3 you want it to be in, then you would get around the inability to load the OS problem. I have several Linux machines I use once in a while here at home and if I move the hard drive from one machine to another it just downloads the updates and configures itself and runs just fine in the new machine. Even if the original machine was an Intel cpu and I put the hard drive in an AMD cpu machine, it works just fine. Am I under-thinking the problem here?

on a different topic, any of you penguins and other species know of a good freeware firewall that works with Rosie? Comodo had a really bad "burp" and blocked or corrupted 2.14 and blocked or did something to the excell files.

now i am using a older version of kaspersky firewall.
might just try torrent downloading trendmicro's system providing someone has a valid key to share.

@Mikey - No can do. Sony did a good job with security on the PS3, which is why in over 3 years, it hasn't been hacked. Even GeoHot's PS3 exploit, which allegedly triggered Sony's decision to kill off Linux, is analogous to breaking into a bank. Its a good start, but now you still have to break into the safe. The PS3 MUST run the GameOS, you can't just put a Linux hard drive into it. All sorts of firmware and crypto to ensure this.

@Greg - Don't know what to recommend. I just use MS's built-in stuff. Anything good on CNET or TUCOWS ?

Figures! Thanks for the explanation.

Greg I use MSE, Microsoft's Security Essentials and it works fine, I also use the built-in MS firewall but nothing else.
