I've got to go out and make my way
I might get rich you know I might get busted
But my heart keeps calling me backwards
As I get on the 707
Ridin' high I got tears in my eyes
You know you got to go through hell
Before you get to heaven

Big ol' jet airliner
Don't carry me too far away
Oh, Oh big ol' jet airliner
Cause it's here that I've got to stay

After Sony's decision, I'm now an endangered species!!!

They're killing off the old PS3 Fatty's that could run OtherOS...

I'm not upgrading my dozen PS3's past the current f/w 3.15, but many will, and once done you can't downgrade the f/w to re-allow the OtherOS option...

A very sad penguin :(

I saw that, and that just does not make sense to me, why would they intentionally dead end a very good machine? I can see making people upgrade to keep using their software to play their games but those with Linux do not play games on the thing, they do other stuff. Why not make it so if you want to keep using it as a game console you must upgrade to version X of their software, if not you can use whatever OS you like. There are places like the US Army buying dozens of the things for security stuff, why not embrace that? It is a revenue source for goodness sake!!

I am sure the crunching community will figure out how to re-allow other OS installs eventually. If software locks it, you can be sure programmers can un-lock it.

it's a sham
registration process problems and update status problems.
doesn't look like its worth it.

it's just another stats program that posts some more stuff in your facebook profile when it works. Last update by the creator was last July nothing new since.

waste of time and space at the moment.

has no official ties to the project or boinc.
