Sigh... I'm gonna need to set up my 2 laptop farm as soon as I finish moving to my new house.

Aug 9th, 09 will be when I hit the 1 million Rosetta@Home credits.

Hopefully the Rosetta Team uses SSE or other extensions to hasten this process :D

ummm... funny you should say that... actually, today i did purchase two motherboards (one with four pci-e x16 slots, and the other with three pci-e x16 slots) to go with the seven nVidia gpu's i've purchased in the last two weeks, and an intel q9550 quadcore. still one cpu short.

so, that'll be an additional 7 gpu's for F@H (which take up a total of two cpu cores, one on each mobo), leaving six cpu cores (three on each mobo) for Boinc.

Once up and running (maybe another month, after I move out of current apartment), I think there may be a *slight* increase in my rac...

two questions for you...

if R@H achieves to harness GPUs... would you use your GPU for R@H or F@H?

Two... whats your electric bill like?

2A. "free" electricity included in rent at current apartment. *may* have something to do with the fact i've had landlord difficulties, and will be moving in 2 weeks, lol...

2B. i'll let you know when I get the bill from new apartment, and have to pay 50% of it!!!

3. August 9, 2009 will be here soon enough, lol...

I saw an article on CNN website about someone who got a Nobel prize for proving that Coke more specifically diet can be used as a contraceptive. At the same time there was someone else that proved it can't be used as a contraceptive. Hows that for a story line.

Coke worries me. You can drop a really dirty coin into a glass of coke and it will be bright shiny new by the morning. A rag soaked in it will clean your car windscreen from all sorts of muck. God knows what it must do to our bodies.....

I thought that was prell shampoo that could clean oil off of concrete.
Coke keeps the doctors employed I guess.
Here is how you clean polyester cheaply:
Pretreat the oil stains with laundry detergent, possibly a commercial preparation such as Shout® spray or gel, or even Prell shampoo for hair. Then wash in warm, not hot, water. Use the "permanent press" setting for both a washing machine and dryer, if used
