It thinks a text file is a virus?? (What will happen next?)

...which AV program and version are you using?

I am running "Online Armor" from http://tallemu.com/
While I have only the firewall part of the suite, the program did a scan of my system to see if there were any virus threats and suggested that the following were "perhaps infected by virus"
C:Program FilesBOINCprojects
www.worldcommunitygrid.orghpf2.sasa_prob_cdf.txt.gz
www.worldcommunitygrid.orghpf2.sasa_offsets.txt.gz
boinc.bakerlab.org_rosettasasa_prob_cdf.txt.gz
boinc.bakerlab.org_rosettasasa_offsets.txt.gz
It did not like the underbars

But from your reaction I surmise that the files are for real.

The file names are for real. I suppose it would be possible a virus has infected them, but then the programs wouldn't be running properly.

You could compare the contents of your files against the originals on the server just to be positive:

https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/download/2f5/sasa_offsets.txt.gz
