I use boincstats and i have seen that there is my name 2 times in Rosetta@home. How can I merge these two accounts to one?
I tried to change my emailadress but it's not possible because the other one is in use (however).

The name of both is Master of Avenger.

So it sounds like you do have two Rosetta accounts. Perhaps each with the same handle, but different EMail addresses... so boincstats won't know the difference between this situation and two seperate individuals.

Unfortunately, now that you have two accounts, you can't put them back together. First determine which account you want to use (probably the one with the most credit and machines hooked up already). Then which machines are not on the account you want to use. For each machine:

-complete the work you have (mark the project for "no new work" until what it already has is all done and reported back)

-detach from Rosetta.

-reattach to Rosetta, using the other account's EMail address.

I have a similar problem in that I somehow have two accounts with the same name in the same group and the current inactive one is the group founder and I'm unsure how the second login came about, but I think it was when I relinquished the web domain putitondvd.co.uk and changed my email address and URL, possibly because I could not receive any emails from the old address.

I would have thought that when 2 members of the group have the same name there should be some way to edit the details so they can be merged.

Also I cannot merge the two sets of results against my computer from before I upgraded the OS to the current, which it shows as 2 different machines as I have been unable to edit the domain name to enable the merge - is there a way?

I just want all the results for rosetta in the same graph as einstein and seti really.
