I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my Mac Pro ranks #4 (or at least it did when I checked today) in Rosetta's list of fastest computers.

I wrote a little celebratory post with a screenshot on my blog, with the goal of trying to encourage my readers to start crunching.

I'm actually happy to see that I'm being overtaken rapidly in the top computers list. It means that others are joining with 8-core machines. That's good for the science and I don't care about being lower on the list :)
