Hello from Portugal

I have formated my hdd and had reinstaled boinc 5.10.30, and I have running 2 projects in a Q6600, 3wu's at same time of rosetta and 1wu of climate, but know I can't run any of climate because rosetta is always at high priority... how can I chage that? I already had put rosetta 50 and climate 200 but the problem still persist :(

Thanks for all help

High priority generally means that BOINC is concerned that the task may miss it's deadline, so it is trying to keep working on it to provide best chance of meeting the deadline. Don't worry, while it does this, it records the amount of time owed to climate and pays it back later.

Be careful with changing the resource shares! You probably don't want a second climate task, or you will have the opposite problem.

Since you just reloaded the machine, BOINC doesn't have any history to learn from about how much your machine is on, how often internet is active, how long it takes you to crunch a task, etc. Give it time and it will get used to how you use your machine and how the tasks are running.

I would set the resource shares back to normal, and let it run it's course. In a day or two it will probably be back to normal.

Thanks for the explanation... I will put everything like it was 1 day ago.

And yes, I don't want another climate unit at same time.

And again... Thanks a lot :)
