For several days my status has showed as uploading two tasks that were 100% completed last week. They are due December 13. NO downloads, computations or any signof other actdivity. My Boinc screensaver says it is currently idle.
I've checked everything obvious including my computer settings. I also upgraded to BOINC 5.10 last night and found things unchanged this morning. Does any one have any wisdom to share?

Rosetta's deadlines are currently 7 days from when you download a task. So, you shouldn't be seeing anything with a December deadline.

Your profile shows 3 machines, and only with with any tasks allocated to it. Both are due November 8.

Go to the advanced view, to the messages tab and see if any of the messages explain what is happening. Also, in the transfers tab, see if it shows the two results ready to be sent back.

Is it possible you have installed a firewall or something that doesn't know to permit BOINC to use the internet? If you need help with that, please let us know which firewall product, and there is probably someone here that can explain how to configure it.

Sorry, I misspoke, the current deadlines are 10 days from the date of download. But December 13 still is not a possible due date.

I found that on the activity tab, network activity suspended was selected although that didn't match selections on the main screen. Even curiouser -- I realized that the due date on those two tasks was 12/13/1901 ! Messages in the last couple of minutes show the stalled tasks have uploaded, so whatever was going on seems to have ceased its mischief.

You may want to check your system clock. If that is wrong you may have problems in the future with any number of programs, including BOINC.
