Today I finally upgraded to broadband and was looking at Rosetta and can't figure out how to change the default address.

Any suggestions?

Go to the home page, click on "Your account," it's one of the top links right next to password.

Thanks for the reply but I'm still confused. Since I have put in a new address does that mean that new work will come to the new address?

Also, when I pull up BOINC manager and go to the 'Advanced' tab and pull up 'Options', and pull up 'Computer' it shows my old e-mail address. Is that correct?

You have a Rosetta user ID, and a unique EMail address. Your machine's setup is based on your Rosetta user ID, which remains unchanged (although your machine must update to the project to reflect that change of EMail address).

The tasks are not sent to an EMail address, they are sent to the host... based on the Rosetta user ID.

Thanks. I guess I understand that. In any event, when I try to get work I keep getting this message...........

"BOINC Manager is not able to connect to a BOINC client. Would you like to try
to connect again?.............WHY?

Also, when I pull up th emanager and go to the 'Advanced' tab and select 'Computer'
it still shows my old e-mail and will not let me change anything. Is this an issue?

Would it be better to just dump Rosetta and start over?

No, but DO end (exit, not just close) BOINC and restart.

Well, the account key isn't going to get any shorter...

Your email address doesn't go anywhere in the manager. I think the section you're talking about is for proxy information. If you're not using a proxy, nothing goes in there.
