My bad, just wanna see if i can fix it.

With all of Rosie's problems, my laptop had about forty 3 hour wu's completed.

Since the lappy is slow AMD, and not Rosie friendly, I "detached" from Rosie and added other projects.

I "thought" i checked to see if the wu's were uploading to Rosie first, but I don't see it now (they're all the ones due on Sept 11).

Assuming i goofed in detaching before the wu's uploaded, is there any way to get back the results of ~120 hours of crunching?

I believe when you detach, BOINC removes everything that the given project was using from your machine. Sorry. You are probably aware, but setting "no new work" would have retained and reported everything once the project came back up.

I wouldn't be too hard on yourself: lots of crunchers have made similar mistakes like this where they lost lots of credit.

I now have a split CPID problem that I can't get rid of until Proteins@home comes back online. I technically haven't lost anything, but I am beginning to fear lately my lost host credits will not be retreived because P@h will be offline too long to line things up again. I think the only thing I can do then is merge my old hosts with my current ones to get everything to show up again. If anyone knows when P@h will be back, let me know.

I do have to laugh at lawsuits which forced warning labels on plastic bags (do not put over your head) and coffee (contains hot liquid), etc...

But perhaps in this instance, it wouldn't have been to terrible an idea to insert one last warning dialog box, as a "gentle reminder" that any pending uploads would be lost.

I was hoping that even if BOINC did remove these files, I could go digging around a little and "undelete" them. But given my poor luck when I was trying to sneaker-net wu's, likely this wouldn't have worked.

Only silver lining in all of this is that my Intel Quad-Core will take less than a day to make up for 120 hours of AMD XP-M 2500+ "lost" wu's...
