Ok, I installed Vista. Now my computer shows up as another computer because it's running vista. Is there anyway to fix this? It won't let me merge them.

No, unless the two systems are exactly the same you can't merge them. Since you changed the OS that counts as a signficant-enough change to be considered a different computer.

Now that I actually look at your profile I see only one computer. Are you sure it didn't merge successfully?

No, klick on "show all hosts" , there you find the C2D 6300 again with Win XP :/

Hmm weird, when i changed the FSB on my machine, it created a new PC in my profile, but I was able to merge it with the old, even it did not showed as the same CPU hmm.. Would be pretty stupid if I cant merge the same PC only using different OS.
