Since Rosetta 5.59, I have been unable to download files. Rosetta tries to download 6 files. 2 files indicate "Downloading" and 4 are "Download pending". The Progress, Size and Speed of the 2 files that show "Downloading" never change from 0. If I abort the 2 "Downloading" files, 2 other files start downloading, but they also remain at 0. I have aborted all downloads and the associated Task. The next Rosetta Task exibits the same symptoms. All other Projects work normally. I am running Mac OS X 10.4.9 on a Dual-Core Intel Xeon processor.

I upgraded to BOINC 5.8.17 and everything appears to be working.

For your future reference, the Rosetta download server was offline for a period of time. Your BOINC upgrade happend to complete once the servers were online again. So... the BOINC version had no impact on the result.

That's odd, because when I checked the Rosetta Server Status page prior to my upgrade, it indicated that everything was Running !

Yes, they are working on that issue as well. There is apparently a server not listed on the status page that is having some problems. Or, the type of problems it is having are not detected by the status page.
