My account shows that I have four computers, when, in fact, I only have two. Furthermore, I don't plan on using the second computer, the Mac Powerbook. Is there anyway to delete computers from my account?

Wait until all results are deleted then you should be able to delete.

Sometimes BOINC assigns separate identities to the same computer by mistake. You can correct this by merging old identities with the newest one.

The reason you have more computers showing on a profile than you do actually running a project is usually caused when you reattach to a project. BOINC counts it as another new computer and easy way to correct this is to view your computers through the profile settings and Merge your computers it will bring up all the same computers and have check boxes to tick mark all the checkboxes and hit merge.
