Hi.
It would be wonderful if someone knew a solution to this:
I have installed BOINC on a virtual Linux server (first boinc_5.4.11_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh , later boinc_5.8.15_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh both are dropping WUs with error 131) to participate in the Rosetta@Home project but all WUs are constantly failing. I am starting the process with "./boing" without starting the BOING manager. I only have SSH access to the server, so I don't want any graphics appearing.
While the process in the command line looks ok (at least to me), the WUs seem to be canceled and the details report a "client error".

While the command line in SSH reads like:

Not a single copmutation was successful so far. Has anyone got a hint why this might be happening? I read something that error code 131 was often produced by some older client or that it may be graphic related. Is it trying to produce some graphical feedback maybe and fails to do so due to lack of any xserver or something?

I'm having the same issue.

I'm running kubuntu 7.04 and using an app_info to use the latest built linux client. I have yet to succcessfully complete a single work unit.
