I'm running Vista operating system and a amd4800 dual core optimized processor with the latest 5.8.15 boinc software,graphics in preferences are set at 40,everything is set the same as it was with windows xp.what might be causing this slow motion effect? thanks for any help you might give me. ed at team Amega.

You will need to install the proper graphics drivers since vista does not support (accelerated) OpenGL out of the box.
