I am new to Rosetta so here is my question, sorry if this there is a well known answer. I have 3 of my computers running Rosetta and my Intel based MacBook Pro has been cruising along just fine, except over the last 3 days when click on the "Your Computers" button and see the website report for my results several of my results are suddenly missing. I have been above 60 twice and when I check later it is 56 or something less than 60+. Where did they go? When I check my transfers etc. everything seems to be fine.

If they had all results in the data base all the time , it would

be to big to handel. So they store them in a database and they disappear

from the "your computer" page.

No need to worry :)

The project can´t keep all your results for you to se all the time.

They are stored away in a big data base for the project to use.

Your credit stays with you at all times :)

I don't know about that... I don't see why a database would just omit a project every 2 days like that. I just checked again yesterday, and I had 12, now today, I have 11 on my G5... all my other computers, I've been keeping a tally, and I haven't lost anything on the others. I'm a database administrator, and the only time I see something like that, is when there is a bug in the system, where a computer shuts down unexpectedly, or the client fails to post the query... In this case, I'm thinking it's a problem with the BOINC client.

The database of previously reported results is on the Rosetta servers. The results are not retained indefinately. They are purged by age and type of task as a given study is completed.
