Ilario, I'm not sure "standby" is the word on the English display. But I think you are saying that Rosetta isn't running all the time. This is normal when you have several projects on your computer. You can review the resource allocation in the projects tab. And, if you like, you could adjust the resource share in your Rosetta Preferences. Or maybe your machine just isn't on for very many hours per day.

It looks like you just downloaded a new task. And it took you 14 days to complete the first one. It also looks like you are using a 24hr work unit runtime preference.

Your first work unit was returned after the deadline. Deadlines are usually set to 10 days. So, you might want to use a shorter work unit runtime as well. This is also set in the Rosetta Preferences. This will help assure you can complete the work before the deadlines.

Running Microsoft's "System Idle Process" will never help cure cancer, AIDS nor Alzheimer's. But running Rosetta@home just might!
