I installed boinc on several computers, one of them couldn't restart properly due to issues with beryl compiz etc.
I had to uninstall boinc on this computer in order to get it to boot up properly. It was running a work unit and was never detached.
Question : what will happen to this unit? It is no longer being run.

The above computer still appears in my list of computers. How do I remove it from the list without reinstalling boinc and messing up that particular computer? (it does not want to play with boinc and beryl)

The task (workunit) will will just time out, i.e once the deadline is reached, and will be sent to another participant. So nothing to worry about there.

As for removing it from the list.
Well it is just a list and after 30days of inactivity it will be hidden (unless you hit the show all link)
Again nothing to worry about, there is no need to removeit.
