Ugh. It's finals time in Northfield, MN. Anyone wanna read a Spanish paper about Balún Canán? How about a religion paper about Marxism (that one was a stretch).

(Feel free to read River's last post now :)

So here I figured the "SO" in SOAN must be for St. Olaf, then I see your profile and your team is Carelton. And team Carelton has a RAC of 645. 1,900 students... what can we do to help you get the word out about Rosetta? Perhaps a contest between serparate teams of different majors could be organized?

I'm having trouble thinking of a thought, connected or unconnected... but I needed something in order to direct Feet1st to my reply here.

I don't know how to feel about my new avatar. My eyes won't focus when I look at it. Do I need new glasses?

Yes!...Then you'll be able to read the secret messages.

I think this belongs on R@H The Onion

Quick note to teachers and parents, some of the material on The Onion contains adult themes and profanity. I'll click a minus on myself (if I can) so that you can filter out such things. click here Under Filtering->Filter threshold set this to -1 should do the trick.

Perhaps that should of said

I think this belongs on R@H science is hard

Blah blah blah, about The Onion.

I also have found out that University of Washinton has cambots with the added benefit of the bottom two having local time PST, so no more trying to work out PST = UTC -8:00 and me having UTC + 11:00 (with daylight savings of course), are that makes it yesterday or today umm... 19:00 in front umm... hang on did I add daylight savings um... Looks up Washington time oops no those tricky yanks called it Washington but it's in Seatlle, well.. Last tuesd'y week somtime I'd reck'n. :D

I like corn. I like all kinds of corn. I like corn chips, corn flakes, corn bread... I like corn on the cob, or from a can, even corned beef. I like tamales and tortillas and my grandma used to make this wonderful thing called scrapple that noone seems to have ever heard of...

Call me corny if you like, but wheat just doesn't cut it for me.

Now barley, if properly fermented...

I really don't like green beans...Unless they are mixed up with cheese and onions and other stuff to the point where I can't tell what it is.

Inspired by a fellow student's term paper, I've decided to launch a campaign to demand universal "rights of passage."

[We were getting dangerously close to being on topic, everyone. Just a heads up.]

UFO have recently landed in the UK

Since you mentioned it, last month I've prepared a Web-page with a collection of (IMHO) the best UFO resources at:

http://www.hyper.net/ufo.html

There is a lot of info (much of it junk) out there and I've only been reading about the UFO subject the last 3 months (but rather intensively).

Regards, Dimitris

The GRE just crushed my soul.

[I go away for two days and everything starts cohering! You are hereby advised to stray from the subject at hand.]
