It is with regret that I withdraw from the rosetta@home project. The fact that the working set on my machine consumes over 120 M of memory is unacceptable. I prefer to turn off my machines when I'm not using them (saves a little electricity), therefore letting it run when I'm not at work is not an option. This kind of memory consumption is simply unacceptable in a work environment.

Please let me know if this problem is addressed and I'll happily rejoin the project.

I am sorry the memory requirements of this project are unacceptable. Please consider trying some of the other projects. SETI and Einstein have lower memory requirements, most of the protein projects have about the same memory requirements as this one though. Here is a WIKI page with more details.
